Base fee:
  • ENEL grant recipients select this option and enter the code given when prompted. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
  • Select this option if you are a current KATS member. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
  • Select this option if you are not a current KATS member. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
  • Educators who are presenting at the 2026 KATS Kamp and are KATS members select this option. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
  • Educators who are presenting at the 2026 KATS Kamp and are NOT current KATS members select this option. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
  • If you are currently a college student who has not graduated and received their teacher certification, and you are a KATS member please select this option. Breakfast and lunch included
  • If you are currently a college student who has not graduated and received their teacher certification, and you are NOT a KATS member please select this option. By selecting this you will get a limited membership for a year, it will not renew automatically. Breakfast and lunch included.

Register

Join us for the Kansas Association of Teachers of Science annual KATS KAMP with the inspiring theme "Mission Orbit " and a special virtual guest appearance by retired Apollo 13 astronaut, Fred Haise!  This event will be held on Saturday, September 19th, at Emporia State University, with sessions running from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Registration begins at 8:00 AM.

Kick off the conference with our "Mission Orbit: Libation's Launch" event on Friday, September 18th, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at 627 Event Space Bar & Grill (627 Commercial St, Emporia, KS  66801). Included in your $5 entry fee are a free lab coat (for first-time social attenders only), a mission patch for 2026, a drink ticket, and light appetizers. Lab coats are only available for pick up at the social event. Please register your size if you plan to attend the social for the first time. You are welcome to purchase additional food or drinks at the venue.  (Cost for guests who are not registered for the conference is $10.)
