The  Annual Conference, also known as KATS KAMP, is the main event of the Kansas Association of Teachers of Science.  This 2023 event is planned as an "in-person" format at the Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex  located at 5015 E. 29th Street N., approximately one mile north of the Wichita State University main campus. 

The main features of the event are:

  • opportunities to network with fellow science teachers
  • dozens of timely professional presentations
  •  nationally recognized speakers
  • displays by equipment and textbook vendors
  • award presentations
  • election of officers for upcoming year.
